Captain Ahab, bent on his hellish quest for revenge, is in pursuit of the white whale Moby Dick. The tale is narrated by his newly recruited crew member Ishmael. Ishmael describes this epic drama from the deck of the whaling vessel The Pequod, as they embark on a deadly chase on the high seas to follow the captain’s relentless determination to kill the whale, even at the cost of their lives.
